Salvatore Ritacco – Attorney
Salvatore attended Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island and the University of Connecticut for undergrad while working a variety of jobs. Every summer during undergrad, Salvatore worked as an office clerk for a law firm in New London, Connecticut and, as a senior at the University of Connecticut, he was able to extern at the Geographical Area 10 Superior Court in New London, Connecticut. Before, during, after graduating from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School f/n/a Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Salvatore worked as an office clerk and later a law clerk for a law firm in Westerly, Rhode Island. In 2008, Salvatore opened the Law Office of Salvatore Ritacco, LLC in Pawcatuck, Connecticut. Because of Salvatore’s exposure to many areas of the law, he is able to provide legal counsel in a wide variety of legal matters.
Salvatore is an active member of a number of legal, business, and nonprofit organizations, such as the ABA, CBA, CCDLA, CTLA, ETPCEC, and NLCBA, USDC-CT, MPTC, AVVO, OCC (board member) and the PNC (corporate member). He is also a former member of BNI-Stonington.
Salvatore’s parents, Mario and Lucia, were born in the Calabria region of Southern Italy. After they married, they moved near family in New York and later settled in Pawcatuck, Connecticut. Salvatore was born at the Westerly Hospital, attended school in Stonington/Pawcatuck from elementary through high school.
Salvatore and his wife Lesley worked together for a number of years. Lesley is originally from Fall River, Massachusetts and fell in love with Stonington. They both love to cook, travel, and spend time with friends and family, and often volunteer their time supporting community events.
Thank you to the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce, Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce, Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce, The Day and Foxwoods Resort Casino for a great night showcasing our young professionals at the annual Southeastern Connecticut 40 Under Forty Award celebration. The event was a real tribute to the notable group of professionals, our friends and family members.
